I'm getting back into listening to music from the past four decades on Rdio and I noticed our band's album is in there. It put a crazy smile on my face.

I totally owe this weblog some closure. I should at least change the title in case someone thinks I am only listening to music from last year.

So far I've been diving back into my old haunts: Bad Brains, Misfits, Sublime, reggae of all kinds, also hitting albums I learned about only through this project (TV on the Radio's "Return to Cookie Mountain" and Major Lazer's previous work).

One thing I realized though is I'm still conditioned to check out the week's releases on Tuesdays, so hopefully that will stick and I can call the project a success. The last weeks of December were rough because we were home and I love listening to old music while we wrap gifts or just hang out.

Also: did you look for any 2010 holiday music? (I spent a whole sixth of the year looking for holiday music, so maybe I'm one of *those* people and unlike me you didn't even countenance the concept.)
