Sleigh Bells

When I started this project in January I was listening to Sleigh Bells a lot. So when January ended (and my chance to listen to music from 2009) I missed that EP most of all.

Their first full-length album is out and it doesn't disappoint at all. The songs are just as crunchy and loud as before. Great album.

Slow Week I've been listening to a bit of the (as yet unreleased) Hold Steady album "Heaven is Whenever". It's okay. Seems like the sort of thing people who like that sort of thing would like. I'm still warming to it and not sure if I'm going to buy it on May 3rd or not. Something I will be buying is thew new Sleigh Bells album. [Ben noticed a track posted on Stereogum](http://ben.stupidfool.org/typepad/2010/04/a-new-sleigh-bells-track-tell-em.html) today so that's cool. It's a good track!
