This week was a pretty good one. A lot of Four Tet, a lot of Massive Attack and two great recommendations of Phantogram and Beach House. I also tried Hot Chip and Midlake for a bit but I think it was just a bad time as I couldn't get into it.
I'm still listening to Surfer Blood. And I found out this weekend Ted Leo & The Pharmacists have a new album coming in March so that's good.
So far I'm pretty happy with what I've got, but on the weekends Mark (my son) is less than enthusiastic about the electronic music. He wants some more full on rock and roll and I need to spend this week finding him some.
Janelle Monae's "Tightrope" is lots of fun (and she has a new album coming out in May, I think).
Also, there's been a bunch of new jj music recently (including "My Way", which I liked).

Try the new Spoon record, Transference, for some rock.

I just picked up the Surfer Blood album since it's one of Amazon's $5 this month. Pretty nice.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to a new Ted Leo & the Pharmacists! Seems like there's a bunch of other big albums on 9 March too (Broken Bells, Gorillaz, the Besnard Lakes).

The new High on Fire is out next week! Because I know Mark is the metallest of the metal.
