I listened to a lot of "SLEIGH BELLS" this week followed by some Jay Reatard and the ridiculously named "The Pains of Being Pure at Heart" and some other random 2009 stuff. As February 1 gets closer I have started keeping track of new releases by reading music blogs.
MBV Music is a great super-blog put together by Catbirdseat, Large Hearted Boy, Said the Gramaphone, Chromewaves, and Fluxblog.
Other music blog suggestions would be appreciated.
Sleigh Bells are so good.

Andre, it'll probably behoove you greatly to be sure and check in on MBV on Tuesday afternoons, where you can get the rundown on everything that's released that week (well, not *everything*, but everything worth mentioning). You may be able to give yourself/your project some structure by committing to listening to stuff as it's released.

Must check out Sleigh Bells. Also, thank you for the reminder about Fluxblog -- haven't read them in so long!

+1 on Sleigh Bells. They are rad.
My favorite music blog is probably http://redthreat.wordpress.com/
And I listen to XMU on my satellite radio a ton, which I love.
